WMS Gaming Applies For Interactive Gaming License

The Illinois slot machine manufacturer WMS Gaming has applied for a Nevada Interactive Gaming License, joining the many other companies gearing up for an expected start of online gambling in Nevada late this year.

Earlier this year, WMS launched “Lucky Cruise”, a social casino game featured on Facebook.  That interactive game was developed in partnership with an online games company called Large Animal Games, and was released in February 2012.

WMS already has experience in the real-money online casino business through their UK-targeted site JackpotParty.com.  That site, sharing its name with one of WMS’ most popular land-based slot machine titles, has been live since January 2011.
